About the position

Chukchansi Gold is seeking a dedicated team member responsible for the preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, in accordance with company specifications and standards. The role involves effective interaction with the public and team members, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. The individual will assist in supervising line production staff, preparing and garnishing food according to established recipes, and maintaining compliance with health and sanitation standards. The position requires maintaining a clean work area and may involve additional responsibilities as needed by management.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Perform excellent customer service at all times.
• Assist in the supervision of all line production staff ensuring compliance with Company specs and standards.
• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in kitchen preparation according to established recipes.
• Work as a Team Member with Lead Line Cooks, Dishwashers, Supervisors, Chefs, Servers, and other pertinent Company Team Members.
• Maintain compliance with all regulations of health and sanitation standards.
• Follow all recipes and control procedures.
• Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
• Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary area at all times.
• May be used as an usher as needed by management for events.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years' experience as a cook's apprentice in a large, full-service hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
