About the position

The Lead Logistics Operations Manager at S&K Federal Services is responsible for overseeing all logistics operations at the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center and Army Testing Evaluation Command. This role involves managing logistics staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing logistics support services in conjunction with the Directorate of Public Works. The manager will also represent the company in various meetings and ensure compliance with contract standards while promoting staff development and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise logistics staff in activities associated with TMDE calibrations, MHE, receiving, shipping, storage, property book, turn-in, and delivering excess equipment.
  • Plan and revise work schedules to ensure an even workflow and prioritize cases.
  • Coordinate with the COR and Program Manager regarding logistics priorities and procedures.
  • Prepare workload reports and maintain accurate records of activities.
  • Resolve conflicts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee training and mandatory certification for logistics staff and provide technical guidance.
  • Provide management and oversight on assigned projects using industry standard management tools.
  • Represent the company at Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and customer meetings.
  • Prepare and present reports and briefings as necessary.
  • Ensure work requested through the project/program is performed to customer satisfaction and contract requirements.
  • Identify safety concerns and ensure proper security clearances for contractor personnel.
  • Administer contractor standards of conduct and ensure compliance with contract standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Logistics Management Experience or 6 years in a Supervisory capacity in the U.S. Military with a Logistics Military Occupation Specialty.
  • Current/valid Maryland CLASS C driver's license.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to satisfy a background investigation.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Proficient in the use of computers and software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
