About The Position

The Medicaid Long-Term Supports and Services (LTSS) Process Improvement Lead plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of business processes within the organization. This position involves analyzing and measuring the current processes to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the changes made are sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable. The Lead will work on a variety of problems that range from moderate to substantial complexity, requiring a deep understanding of both the internal workings of the organization and the external best practices in the industry. In this role, the LTSS Process Improvement Lead will conduct thorough research to identify best business practices both within and outside the organization. This includes establishing benchmark data that can be used to measure the effectiveness of current processes. The Lead will collect and analyze process data to recommend business practices and procedures that enhance safety, increase productivity, and reduce costs. A significant part of the role involves determining how new information technologies can support the re-engineering of business processes, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of efficiency and effectiveness. The LTSS Process Improvement Lead may specialize in various areas such as benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management, and measurement, as well as process-driven systems requirements. This position requires the ability to advise executives on developing functional strategies that are often segment-specific and of significant importance to the organization. The Lead will exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues related to job duties and tasks, working under minimal supervision and analyzing variable factors to determine the best course of action.
