About the position

Adobe is on a mission to change the world through digital experiences, and we are looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in helping enterprise customers leverage data science to create real-time personalized experiences through our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer AI. The successful candidate will work closely with various business units to integrate machine learning solutions into Adobe's enterprise products, particularly focusing on applications that enhance marketing effectiveness and optimize investments across channels. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining AI applications that cater to both B2C and B2B use cases. Your work will involve building models that can handle large-scale data, designing applications powered by predictive models, and implementing best practices in ML-Ops. You will engage in the entire product lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and production operations, ensuring that our solutions are robust and effective. Responsibilities

  • Develop models required for solving business use cases that can handle data at scale.
  • Build applications powered by predictive models, including defining APIs, integrating with UIs, and deploying on Cloud services.
  • Implement ML-Ops best practices to ensure efficient model deployment and management.
  • Understand data to recommend the right predictive models, quality metrics, and governance approaches.
  • Engage in the product lifecycle, including architecture, design, deployment, and production operations.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in applied AI/ML for MS or 4+ years for PhD, including developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models into production.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, or analytics concepts, with a proven track record of solving problems using these methods.
  • Experience in building large-scale data pipelines.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or SQL.
  • Proficient in ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, SparkML, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience working with both research and product teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud services and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics and campaign performance measurement.
