As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Prudential, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization’s digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to implement machine learning models that enhance stability, scalability, and integration with various products and services. Your primary focus will be on operationalizing machine learning software models and components that address real-world business challenges. This involves not only the technical implementation but also the removal of complex technical impediments that may arise during the development process. In your day-to-day activities, you will be responsible for writing and testing application code, developing and validating machine learning models, and automating tests and deployment processes. You will leverage cloud-based architectures and technologies to deliver optimized machine learning models at scale, ensuring that they are effectively integrated into the existing systems. Your role will also require you to construct optimized data pipelines that feed into these models, utilizing best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment to guarantee successful deployment outcomes. You will be expected to bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies to the table, providing input and coaching to team members while embedding a culture of learning and innovation in daily operations. The position demands a proactive approach to solving complex problems, where analysis of situations or data requires evaluating intangible variables.
