About the position

The Lead Machine Learning Engineer at GSPANN is responsible for driving machine learning initiatives, particularly in the e-commerce sector, to enhance personalization efforts. This role requires extensive experience in data engineering and machine learning, along with proficiency in various programming and deep learning frameworks. The position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and on-site collaboration in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Drive machine learning initiatives focused on personalization in e-commerce.
• Develop and implement machine learning models using Python and Pyspark.
• Utilize deep learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
• Manage MLOps frameworks in Azure and Databricks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate findings and present results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning engineering, or data science.
• Proficient in Python and Pyspark.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
• Experience with MLOps frameworks in Azure and Databricks.
• Strong background in Microsoft Azure Cloud and Databricks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in DevOps/MLOps is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with e-commerce personalization initiatives.
