About the position

The Lead Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for building and managing the backend machine learning systems for a customer-facing application in a leading US pharmaceutical company. This role involves leading a small team of ML Engineers and developing scalable ML and AI models, leveraging extensive experience in machine learning systems and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of Machine Learning Engineers.
• Build and scale machine learning and AI models for a customer-facing application.
• Implement MLOps best practices in the development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing systems.
• Ensure the quality and performance of machine learning models.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in building machine learning systems.
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role managing small teams.
• Proficiency in frameworks and libraries for machine learning.
• Experience with MLOps best practices.
• Knowledge of data warehousing.
