Responsibilities

• Set up machine, change tools, and calibrate machine
• Document downtime
• Complete goals as set by leadership
• Lift and arrange glass on/off conveyor
• Read and understand blueprints
• Read and process work orders by due dates provided
• Work with a partner to properly and safely load and unload glass from machine
• Use a computer system to input the proper operation for the glass tempering and enter the operation into the production system
• Complete daily worksheets and forms
• Ensure the machines and tools are in good working order and perform daily cleaning as needed

Requirements

• Ability to operate three or more machines
• Basic computer knowledge in order to review work orders, enter data, and print documents
• Ability to read and perform calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead a team to accomplish required work
