About the position

The Lead Magento Cloud Developer will play a crucial role in managing the configuration and customization of the global Magento Cloud e-commerce platform. This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, and is offered as a long-term contract. The salary for this role ranges from $10.00 to $11.00 USD per hour, with the possibility of negotiation based on the candidate's experience and skill alignment. In this role, the Lead Magento Cloud Developer will be responsible for configuring and customizing the Magento Cloud platform to meet specific business requirements. This includes tasks such as theme customization, extension installation, and module configuration. The developer will also manage product catalogs, attributes, pricing, promotions, and inventory management within the Magento Cloud environment. Collaboration with the development team is essential to ensure the effective integration of various functionalities within the Magento Cloud platform. Additionally, the Lead Developer will ensure smooth integration with third-party systems, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP systems. Conducting training sessions for internal teams will be a key responsibility, as the developer will educate team members on Magento Cloud functionalities, best practices, and prepress processes. Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in Magento Cloud and prepress technologies is vital, as the developer will be expected to suggest enhancements and improvements to the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the Magento Cloud platform to meet business requirements, including theme customization, extension installation, and module configuration.
  • Manage product catalogs, attributes, pricing, promotions, and inventory management within Magento Cloud.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate and leverage functionalities within the Magento Cloud platform.
  • Ensure smooth integration with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams, educating them on Magento Cloud functionalities, best practices, and prepress processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Magento Cloud and prepress technologies, suggesting enhancements and improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience with Magento Cloud configuration and customization.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to manage product catalogs, attributes, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
  • Experience with third-party system integrations, including payment gateways and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting training sessions and collaborating with teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Commerce is highly desired.
