About the position

The Lead Magento Cloud Developer will play a pivotal role in managing the configuration and customization of the global Magento Cloud e-commerce platform. This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Magento Cloud platform meets the business requirements through effective configuration and customization. This includes theme customization, extension installation, and module configuration to enhance the overall functionality of the platform. In addition to the technical aspects, the Lead Developer will manage product catalogs, attributes, pricing, promotions, and inventory management within the Magento Cloud environment. Collaboration with the development team is essential to integrate various functionalities within the Magento Cloud platform effectively. The role also involves ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP systems, which is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency. The Lead Magento Cloud Developer will also be responsible for conducting training sessions for internal teams, educating them on the functionalities of Magento Cloud, best practices, and prepress processes. Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in Magento Cloud and prepress technologies is vital, as the Lead Developer will be expected to suggest enhancements and improvements to the existing systems. Experience with Adobe Commerce is highly desired, as it aligns closely with the responsibilities of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the Magento Cloud platform to meet business requirements, including theme customization, extension installation, and module configuration.
  • Manage product catalogs, attributes, pricing, promotions, and inventory management within Magento Cloud.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate and leverage functionalities within the Magento Cloud platform.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in configuring and customizing Magento Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce is highly desired.
  • Ability to manage product catalogs, attributes, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and collaboration with teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with complex integrations for Warehouse, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
