About the position

The Lead Market Research Analyst at AT&T is responsible for collecting, researching, and analyzing data to identify market trends and make recommendations for the development of new products or services. This role involves managing investigative studies to assess the organization's market position, designing data collection methods, and providing insights to facilitate effective marketing strategies. The analyst will maintain strong communication with stakeholders and may guide less experienced team members, contributing to the overall goal of serving customers and transforming lives through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of investigative studies to assess the organization's market share and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Design and implement data collection methods, analyze data, and interpret results.
  • Provide research findings and collaborate with marketing management to develop effective marketing plans.
  • Consult on identifying marketing opportunities and assess departmental improvements in marketing information.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to align research objectives with business goals.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced contributors.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading comprehensive product development research initiatives from concept through market launch.
  • Extensive experience working in a corporate setting with strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
  • Ability to make informed recommendations on methodological approaches to stakeholders.
  • Project management and vendor management experience.
  • Presentation design skills with attention to detail for accuracy and reliability of research data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during research projects.
  • Ability to confidently present research findings to key stakeholders.
