About the position

The Lead Marketing & Proposal Specialist will play a crucial role in the Transportation Group at CDM Smith, focusing on large and complex project pursuits exceeding $10 million. This position involves strategic leadership during the presell stage, collaborating with various stakeholders to create compelling proposals and marketing materials tailored for transportation clients. The specialist will utilize exceptional writing and creative skills to develop clear and engaging content, while also managing marketing efforts for regional and national conferences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead strategist during the presell stage on large project pursuits.
• Provide and facilitate writing and editing for complex proposals and presentations.
• Develop clear, concise, and compelling content for proposals and presentations.
• Participate in brainstorming and strategy development sessions.
• Update and maintain marketing materials, including resumes and project descriptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Ability to lead and motivate pursuit teams.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Writing, Communications, or a related degree.
• Experience in proposal development in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry.
