About the position

The Marketing Brand Lead at GEICO's Marketing Department will play a crucial role in the Brand & Creative Team, focusing on the development of brand advertising creative. This position involves managing relationships with creative partners, evaluating and shaping creative outputs, and executing integrated marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. The role aims to reinforce GEICO's brand presence and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationship of, and project work for, creative agency of record.
  • Drive organization of Brand & Creative projects, in collaboration with the Creative Project Manager.
  • Evaluate and contribute to business and creative brief development; Assist in development of intake briefs and creative addendums for Agency Partners.
  • Provide creative input and recommendations during development process; Capture and communicate consolidated feedback to agencies.
  • Review marketing and non-marketing materials to ensure all creative content adheres to the GEICO brand voice and GEICO brand visual identity.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop omni-channel & partner-driven campaigns that align with business, product, & marketing goals.
  • Manage creative development of branded integrations through network and media partnerships.
  • Partner with internal Social and Creative Studio teams to ensure shared strategic direction, brand cohesion, and campaign extension across the customer journey.
  • Partner with Internal and External Communications to amplify awareness of campaigns as they go to market.
  • Synthesize & circulate creative performance metrics from Analytics.
  • Partner with Analytics to interpret creative performance and incorporate findings into current and future work.
  • Road-map all brand/external agency initiatives based on strategy + marketing directives.
  • Visualize and disseminate creative rotations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage talent / usage rights / ad expirations for commercials and external assets.
  • Contribute to budget tracking and invoicing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years brand management experience or comparable Creative Agency experience
  • Prior experience managing external agencies including Creative Agencies and Media Partners
  • An understanding of how to evaluate creative and contribute to development
  • Exceptional organizational skills to balance managing multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Unique blend of creative and analytical skills
  • Experience with full-funnel marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with Creative and Production processes
  • Familiarity with omnichannel marketing and go-to-market planning, preferably in IAT (Inter-Agency Team) model
  • Strong understanding of Paid, Owned and Earned ecosystem
  • Experience with variable budgets
  • Relationship-building skills
