About The Position
The Lead Medical Assistant (MA) at WellMed plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while also taking on leadership responsibilities. This position requires an expert level of skill in medical assisting, with a focus on training and mentoring other MAs. The Lead MA will spend a significant portion of their time on clinic-specific initiatives aimed at improving processes and metrics, while also performing essential medical assistant duties under the supervision of healthcare providers.
