About the position

The Lead Merchandise Financial Planner at Nike will play a crucial role in defining and executing multi-season revenue, receipt, and inventory plans to meet consumer demand. This position requires collaboration across various functions to achieve financial business targets and optimize inventory health. The planner will utilize data-driven analysis and insights to inform decision-making and problem-solving, ensuring alignment with consumer architecture and market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead multi-season Merchandise Financial Plan for Consumer and FOP
  • Adjust and align Merchandise Financial Plan to consumer architecture based on targets and actuals
  • Determine Global and Geo, Pre-Season top-down financial business targets for Consumer Demand, Revenue, Margin and Inventory
  • Set and run end-to-end inventory liquidation plans within and across Channel
  • Define location consumer demand, revenue, receipt and inventory plans
  • Determine cross-FOP trade-off actions to drive consumer demand and optimize overall marketplace inventory health

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in retail, planning and/or product management
  • Strong ability to influence and work constructively with others
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to collate and understand relevant market data
  • Strong command of Retail metrics including Retail Sales, ST%, WOS, Inventories, Revenue and Margin
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
