About the position

The Lead Mobile Engineer at NICE will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing mobile applications for the NICE CXone platform. This position involves leading the development of native mobile applications, primarily for the Android platform, while also contributing to the overall mission of improving customer experiences through innovative technology solutions. The role requires a strong background in software development, particularly in mobile applications, and a passion for driving excellence in customer service technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of native mobile applications for the NICE CXone platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years' experience in software development, primarily in native mobile applications.
• Experience with the Android platform and mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
• Working knowledge of unit testing and test automation.
• Familiarity with user stories and use cases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the iOS platform and either Objective-C or Swift.
• Experience consuming Web APIs.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.
• Experience developing SDKs that integrate with customer's native applications.
