About the position

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Lead .NET Developer to join its Digital Engineering Practice, where small, cross-functional teams build innovative cloud-based software solutions. The role involves collaborating with a diverse team to create high-quality applications for a global client base, emphasizing continuous improvement and challenging legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions within Investran Equity and COSR systems modules to integrate finance systems.
• Work on Investran upgrade project development.
• Interact with business analysts and users to finalize designs and obtain sign-offs.
• Guide offshore development resources in building UI and database artifacts.
• Collaborate with data modelers to finalize data model changes and additions.
• Architect scalable enterprise applications in .NET.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant work experience in full stack .NET development.
• Proficiency in .NET 4.5x or higher, including C#, .NET OData, and WCF Data Services.
• Experience with Angular and .NET Web API.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Data Power and MQ.
• Experience with Windows Identity Framework (WIF).
• Development of REST/SOAP web services with WCF/Web API.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with interfacing between different IFC systems and Investran COTS product.
• Knowledge of task/bug tracking using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
