About the position

The Lead .Net Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using .NET technologies and SQL databases. This role requires extensive experience in software development, particularly with object-oriented programming languages, and a strong understanding of database systems. The developer will work closely with business units and vendors to translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with business units to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for database management.
• Implement Application Lifecycle Management techniques and concepts.
• Work with Agile methodologies to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) tools for automated processes.
• Manage APIs using API management software like Apigee or equivalent.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of current experience in Software Development.
• Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages, such as C#, .NET Core, and SQL.
• Strong PL/SQL or stored procedure experience.
• Knowledge of database systems including Oracle and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with business units and vendors.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with investments or securities.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development, Entity Framework, and MVC.
• Experience with TFS/Bit bucket source control tools.
• Autosys job management experience.
• JIRA experience for Agile Projects.
