About the position

The Lead .NET Engineer will be responsible for setting up and managing Azure infrastructure while developing and deploying solutions that enhance eCommerce functionalities. This role requires a strong background in Azure services and a proven track record in backend .NET development, with a focus on optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and deploy solutions using Azure.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
• Implement various Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure CDN, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Integrate third-party systems, extensions, and APIs with Adobe Commerce/Magento to enhance eCommerce functionality.
• Optimize the application's architecture for performance, scalability, and security within a cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure, integrations, and eCommerce functionalities.
• Stay current with the latest Azure and eCommerce trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or more in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience hiring and building a team.
• Proven experience as an Azure Developer with a strong focus on eCommerce.
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure CDN.
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce concepts such as catalog management, order management, payment gateways, and shipping integrations.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools in an Azure environment.
• Proven experience as a backend .NET developer.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
