About the position

The Lead Network Security Engineer (Forescout) is responsible for managing, designing, and improving Raymond James Financial's enterprise network, focusing on the Forescout NAC Global infrastructure. This role involves leading network engineering implementations, providing technical guidance, and driving infrastructure modernization projects. The engineer will collaborate with management and peer engineers to enhance network performance and security while offering Tier 3 technical support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the Forescout NAC Global infrastructure.
• Design and implement network technologies in collaboration with network architects.
• Lead the buildout of solutions and drive innovation for new technologies.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and guidance to peer engineers.
• Monitor and document network performance and improvements.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for Forescout support.
• Collaborate with various business units to implement new technologies.
• Coach and train peer engineers, creating SOPs and knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in network design and implementation for medium-large scale enterprise networks (10,000 users).
• 3-5 years of experience with Forescout technologies.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Forescout NAC appliances in environments with over 10,000 assets.
• Knowledge of IAM best practices and 802.1x deployment in large enterprises.
• Experience with Palo Alto Centrally managed firewall platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with F5 Clusters and load balancing.
• Familiarity with cloud computing principles and secure network solutions for cloud environments.
• Automation/scripting experience (Python, Ansible).
• Experience with Cisco Wireless technologies in a large enterprise environment.
