You will work with various vendors, including Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto, to deliver solutions that align with business objectives. The position also requires providing after-hours network escalation support, analyzing complex environments, and developing solutions that meet diverse requirements. As a mentor to technical staff, you will help grow the team's talent and ensure that network designs are executed holistically in collaboration with other technology teams and McKesson's operations partners. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care provided to patients, as every McKesson employee plays a role in improving healthcare outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and document Enterprise networks leveraging SDx architectures and principles.
  • Provide after-hours network escalation support in a last-tier capacity as required.
  • Analyze complex environments and develop solutions that meet diverse requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration between project teams and IT partners while providing strong customer service.
  • Mentor technical staff and co-workers to enhance the team's talent depth.
  • Work closely with other technology teams and McKesson's operations and delivery partners to ensure holistic network design and execution.
  • Attend planning meetings and collaborate with application development teams and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in building, designing, and supporting distribution center networks/systems.
  • Advanced experience in architecting and troubleshooting complex networks.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in network services, IT, and/or technical network management.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with automation, software development, and virtualization.
  • Experience in detailed planning and designing of network systems and supporting technologies.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting for software-defined networks.
  • Familiarity with public cloud networking constructs (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Experience interpreting analytical tools to enhance network designs.
  • Experience in financial management for supporting a global network and third-party partnerships.
