About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified Lead NodeJS & AWS Developer to join their Digital Engineering practice. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable enterprise applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js and AWS, particularly within the automotive industry, and will be responsible for mentoring junior developers and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Node JS & AWS.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software applications tailored to the automotive industry.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share standard processes with the development team.
• Work closely with product managers and team members to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development process and improve deployment efficiency.
• Use Azure cloud services to build scalable and secure applications, using the latest technologies and standard methodologies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and technical guides.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously improving skills and knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop and implement test plans, ensuring software applications meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in the automotive industry.

Requirements
