About the position

The Lead Backend Node.js Developer will be responsible for developing a greenfield charity data tracking application that connects to handheld POS systems. This role focuses on backend development using Node.js, with some leadership responsibilities, and is based in a hybrid work environment in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Develop a greenfield charity data tracking application using Node.js.
• Connect the application to handheld POS systems to track customer donations.
• Engage in 90% new development and 10% maintenance of the application.
• Take on 10% leadership responsibilities while being hands-on 90% of the time.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with React is a plus.
• Experience with POS Systems.
