About the position

The Lead Full Stack Developer position is a contract role focused primarily on backend development with full stack capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in JavaScript and Node.js, along with strong database skills, particularly in SQL Server. This role involves collaborating with internal customers to gather requirements and develop dashboards, while also ensuring effective communication and documentation of technical processes. The position requires a hybrid working model, with three days a week onsite in specified locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript/Typescript.
• Collaborate with internal customers to gather requirements and develop dashboards.
• Summarize and document technical processes effectively.
• Work in both Windows and Linux server environments.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and metrics as needed.
• Write Unit and Functional tests to ensure code coverage.
• Manage user access and authentication using Active Directory and LDAP.
• Participate in Agile development processes.
• Contribute to UX/UI design concepts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of developer experience with 7+ years in JavaScript development.
• Proficiency in server-side Node.js or other JavaScript/Typescript development.
• Strong database and SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server.
• Experience developing dashboards and working with internal customers.
• Good communication skills for summarizing and documenting technical processes.
• Experience with cybersecurity or metrics (either one or both).
• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux server environments.
• Solid understanding of code coverage and writing Unit/Functional tests.
• Experience with Active Directory and LDAP.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Typescript experience.

• T-SQL and SQL Server experience.
• Experience with modern CSS techniques and frontend performance optimization.
• Java/Groovy/Gradle experience for Jenkins pipeline updates and debugging.
