This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of Medicaid cost settlement and supplemental payment work. The successful candidate will assist with quality assurance processes, review and improve existing quality control mechanisms, and create documentation such as guides and standard operating procedures. You will work closely with management to establish and promote quality standards, monitor data received from providers, and complete quality assurance checks for assigned projects. Additionally, you will perform quality reviews of work completed by other staff and assist in managing audits associated with school district providers. In a leadership capacity, you will organize and distribute work within the Quality Assurance team, providing supervision and support for junior staff. Your contributions will be vital in decision-making and goal-setting for the team. As part of project management, you will collect, manage, and document data flow across a large set of projects, ensuring timely communication with partners to meet deadlines. Your responsibilities will also include larger-scale data management tasks that impact multiple projects. You will assess and transform Excel data to ensure compatibility with pre-defined templates, load data into these templates, and validate the accuracy of data management tasks performed by junior team members. Furthermore, you will conduct financial analysis of cost reports, including trend and variance analysis, and perform desk audits to validate data against supporting documentation. Client service is a key aspect of this role, as you will communicate with internal clients regarding data discrepancies, missing information, and upcoming deadlines. You will provide first-line client support via a group email box and shared phone help line, ensuring that issues are appropriately escalated within the team. Special projects may also be assigned as needed.
