About the position

Our client, an eCommerce Tech Giant, is looking for a Sr. ERP Consultant/Data Engineer who can work as the middle-man between their ERP and Data Lake teams. This position is 100% remote and requires a strong technical consultant who can extract data from ERP applications and pass it along to the Data Lake team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building data pipelines and developing dashboards that can be utilized by the manufacturing, finance, and supply chain teams. This role is critical as it involves working closely with business users from various domains within the Robotics organization. The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of Oracle EBS, particularly in the areas of Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management. They will be responsible for providing solutions and technical advice, working directly with business users, system analysts, stakeholders, and database administrators. The role also requires the ability to design and develop custom pages, forms, and extensions within Oracle EBS using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and to integrate JSP components into EBS applications. In addition to technical skills, the candidate will oversee small projects or tasks and coordinate activities of teams, schedules, and resources for assigned projects. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs, architectural diagrams, and data models for cloud-based deployments. The position requires a hands-on approach to data and a strong ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Extract data from ERP applications and pass it to the Data Lake team.
  • Create a data pipeline between ERP and Data Lake.
  • Develop dashboards for manufacturing, finance, and supply chain teams.
  • Provide solutions and technical advice to business users, system analysts, stakeholders, and DBAs.
  • Work on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash for Finance.
  • Work on BOM, WIP, Costing, Quality & Planning for Manufacturing.
  • Work on INV, PO, OM, Shipping, Receiving & Planning for Supply Chain Management.
  • Design and develop custom pages, forms, and extensions within Oracle EBS using OAF.
  • Integrate and call JSP pages from within Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
  • Handle deployment of OAF customizations and JSP pages.
  • Perform application system administration functions specific to application setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Oversee small projects and coordinate activities of teams, schedules, and resources.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and data models.
  • Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of integration solutions.
  • Develop reports in Oracle BI Publisher/XML Publisher and register them as concurrent programs.
  • Convert Oracle Seeded reports to XML reports as needed.
  • Design and develop various PL/SQL programs and register them as concurrent programs.
  • Work in EBS/applications integrations using SOA and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Create packages and stored procedures, prepare unit test plans, and involve in testing.
  • Prepare migration and deployment documents (MD70, MD120).
  • Create concurrent programs to call shell scripts and customize report templates.
  • Analyze test results to discover and resolve defects and configuration issues.
  • Create Oracle Alert triggers and work on performance tuning of PL/SQL packages.
  • Utilize FND_LOAD for data migration of various system administration objects.
  • Prepare functional specifications (MD050), technical designs (MD070), and setup documents.
  • Provide post-deployment support as required.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with ERP applications and data.
  • Lead level Data Engineering skills and ability to build pipelines.
  • Strong familiarity with Oracle EBS and product lines: Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to design and develop custom pages, forms, and extensions within Oracle EBS using OAF.
  • Ability to integrate and call JSP pages from within Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems and applications.
  • Experience with Data Visualization.

  • Familiarity with AWS is a nice to have.
