About the position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Oracle PL/SQL Developer responsible for providing technical expertise and coordinating day-to-day deliverables for the team. The role involves assisting in the technical design of large business systems, building applications, and ensuring data security, retention, and recovery. The candidate will also research technologies to recommend solutions and contribute to best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 to 6 years of experience in software design, development, and support working in PL/SQL.
• Experience in SQL skills in Oracle DB.
• Experience in performance tuning.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL with production support.
• Experience in data modeling and data mapping skills.
• Experience in Unix Shell scripting skills.
• Experience in data analysis or production support related experience.
• Experience in resolving production tickets within SLA.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
