About The Position

The Lead Pastor at Centerville Community Church is responsible for guiding the spiritual growth of the congregation, fostering connections within the community, and developing new disciples. Requirements

• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
• Proven leadership and effective communication abilities
• Excellent writing skills for sermon preparation and community outreach
• Experience in bereavement support and hospice care
• Proficient in teaching, mentoring, and conflict management
• Licensed and ordained

• Experience in hospice care (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead spiritual growth and disciple development
• Recruit and nurture group leaders
• Develop and execute an annual plan to enhance congregational engagement
• Provide ongoing leadership and coaching for group leaders
• Participate in the leadership team
