About the position

The Lead Performance Testing Engineer is responsible for conducting performance testing and validation of application and infrastructure changes prior to production deployment. This role involves collaboration with Quality Assurance Analysts and Developers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage, reliability, performance, and quality of systems. The engineer will analyze testing requirements, develop strategies and plans, and review test documentation to maintain high standards of application performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing and validation of application and infrastructure changes before production.
• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure comprehensive system testing coverage.
• Analyze testing requirements and develop testing strategies and plans.
• Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures, including database impacts and usability.
• Maintain and update application documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience as a Performance Tester or Performance Engineer.
• Experience with LoadRunner Enterprise (HP Performance Center) and VUGen (Virtual User Generator).
• Proficiency in Apache JMeter for performance testing and load generation.
• Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk.
• Experience in performance testing scripting, analysis, and providing optimization recommendations.
• Proficiency with Jira for project tracking and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Salesforce/SFDC testing.
