The Lead Photographer/Videographer at Philly Photo & Philm is a crucial role responsible for managing and executing all media projects, particularly in the realm of photography and videography for schools and sports events. This position involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of media production, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet client expectations while also leading a team of photographers and videographers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media production, client engagement, and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute photo and video solutions for picture days at schools, including individual portraits and yearbook photos.
• Manage media production for youth, high school, and collegiate sports events, focusing on action shots and team photos.
• Ensure professional handling of all aspects of photography and videography, including lighting, framing, and post-production editing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, orders, and feedback.
• Design and customize media projects to meet client specifications and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide guidance to clients on media services, enhancing their overall experience.
• Manage a team of photographers and videographers, providing training and performance feedback.
• Coordinate team schedules and assignments for efficient project execution.
• Utilize advanced techniques to capture high-quality images and videos in various conditions.
• Design graphics for sports photos and create engaging short videos for social media.
• Oversee post-production processes, ensuring quality and professionalism in final outputs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in photography and videography, particularly in portrait settings.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage a team effectively, with prior leadership experience preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
• Ability to work in various lighting conditions and environments.
• Energetic and warm personality with a passion for client service.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in live streaming or broadcasting (3 years preferred).
• Videography experience (3 years preferred).
