About the position

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Photographer to join our in-house studio team at Pix For My Wall. This permanent, full-time role involves shooting and editing lifestyle imagery for our online platforms, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals. The Photographer will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing seasonal store promotions, ensuring product accuracy through color correction, and engaging in 360 product photography.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and writers to develop and produce engaging video content.
• Operate video equipment to capture high-quality footage.
• Maintain video equipment and manage media assets.
• Plan and execute video shoots, including setup of lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software.
• Edit imagery to remove backgrounds, change colors, manipulate layers, and perform general retouching.
• Resize images into various sizes for use across different Digital Marketing channels.
• Lead by example in terms of passion, commitment, productivity, and positivity.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio setup.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven experience as a videographer or similar role.
• Experience with Capture One or Lightroom.
• Proficiency in Photoshop is essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of studio lighting and the ability to set up lighting as per briefs.
• Experience in e-commerce photography is a distinct advantage.

Nice-to-haves

• A degree or diploma in Media, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven success working collaboratively in a fast-paced industry.
