About the position

As a Lead Pilot in Command for the G450 at Executive Jet Management, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role requires a high level of expertise in aviation, as you will be leading a team of pilots and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will be tasked with planning and executing flight operations, conducting pre-flight inspections, and managing in-flight activities to ensure passenger safety and comfort. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of safety and service, as you will be the primary point of contact for all flight-related matters. In addition to your flying duties, you will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior pilots, providing them with guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge. You will work closely with the operations team to coordinate flight schedules, manage logistics, and ensure that all necessary resources are available for each flight. Your ability to communicate effectively with both crew members and clients will be essential in delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships. This position requires a commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to best practices in aviation safety. You will be expected to stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in technology to ensure that Executive Jet Management remains at the forefront of the aviation industry. Your role will also involve participating in safety meetings and contributing to the development of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the G450 aircraft.
  • Lead and manage a team of pilots during flight operations.
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and execute flight operations, including route planning and fuel management.
  • Manage in-flight activities to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
  • Train and mentor junior pilots, providing guidance and support.
  • Coordinate flight schedules and logistics with the operations team.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and clients regarding flight details.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety protocol development.

Requirements

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
  • Minimum of 3000 hours total flight time, with at least 1000 hours in jet aircraft.
  • Experience as Pilot in Command (PIC) on G450 or similar aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a corporate aviation environment.
  • Additional type ratings on other aircraft.
  • Experience with flight planning software and tools.
