In this role, you will provide technical expertise to operating units, helping them evaluate risks and resolve PSM issues in a cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for developing and reporting PSM performance targets, supporting the site in identifying actions for improvement. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring compliance with government regulations, international standards, and internal SABIC policies and standards, as well as promoting a culture of safety and incident prevention. You will oversee the management of change processes, evaluate engineering procedures for safe plant startup and shutdown, and maintain documentation related to Process Safety Information. Additionally, you will collaborate with operations during the design of advanced process control systems and ensure that new equipment and process designs comply with safety standards. Training will also be a key component of your role, as you will design and conduct training programs related to PSM and Risk Management Plan elements, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment.
