About the position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Lead Product Analyst to support the Quality, Compliance, and Labs (QCL) technology functions for their global Advanced Therapies (AT) business, located in Raritan, NJ. This position is integral to the QCL Technology team, which collaborates with the J&J Technology Global Supply Chain organization to deliver a comprehensive technology product portfolio that enhances key QCL products and ensures an outstanding customer experience across various channels within J&J's Innovative Medicines and Advanced Therapies sectors. The Lead Product Analyst will work in a dynamic team environment, focusing on the delivery, support, and advancement of QCL and digital capabilities related to strategic, operational, and project activities, while closely partnering with Supply Chain and Quality functions. In this role, the Lead Product Analyst will share responsibility for end-to-end (E2E) processes, optimizing Receipt-to-Release capabilities across the value chain. The position will involve identifying opportunities for digital solutions and predictive analytics to enhance efficiency and productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize risks while lowering the cost of goods sold (COGS) for Advanced Therapies. The Lead Product Analyst will report directly to the Product Group Leader for QCL AT, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include understanding user needs and translating them into detailed requirements for the Squad Build use cases, writing and clarifying user stories, and creating visualizations and process flows. The Lead Product Analyst will communicate the vision to developers and testers, assist in writing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, and participate in UAT as necessary. Additionally, the role involves collecting confirmed business processes to serve as a reference for development and IT support, applying business process improvement methods for optimization, and maintaining a deep understanding of business processes and requirements in partnership with the Product Owner (PO). The Lead Product Analyst will also build end-to-end digital data flows that align with Enterprise data governance standards, track metrics, and build reports to measure progress, while managing dependencies with other squads and ensuring compliance with SDLC documentation and system configuration requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the Squad Build use cases.
  • Write and clarify user stories, visualizations, and process flows.
  • Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and improve user experience.
  • Communicate vision to developers and testers.
  • Help write UAT scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed.
  • Collect confirmed business processes to serve as a reference for development and IT support.
  • Apply business process improvement methods for optimization.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and requirements to ensure that the squad's backlog priorities are aligned with business needs.
  • Build end-to-end digital data flows and related requirements that align with Enterprise data governance standards.
  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress.
  • Help manage dependencies with other squads, working closely with squad TPO, peer PAs, and the Product Manager.
  • Apply compliance requirements within the scope of responsibility, ensuring SDLC documentation, system configuration, and compliance activities are up to date as required.
  • Collaborate with Product / Platform roles to understand product strategy and squad projection needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in product analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement methods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and writing UAT scripts.
  • Familiarity with digital data flows and Enterprise data governance standards.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements related to software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to track metrics and build reports to measure progress.
