About the position

We're looking for a Product Analyst to help us grow and improve some of the most popular experiences on the platform. In this role, you will analyze user data, identify opportunities for new product improvements and features, and use those insights to design and run experiments. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site attendance at our Bay Area office 2-3 times per week. Candidates currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work are particularly encouraged to apply. As a Product Analyst at Volley, you will be the source of truth and knowledge expert on key metrics and user data. You will manage metrics and data, create charts, and communicate findings back to key stakeholders. Your insights and recommendations will guide product decision-making processes. You will design and oversee A/B tests to measure the impact of new features and improvements, collaborating closely with voice designers and engineers to leverage key insights for product enhancements. In your first 90 days, you will be fully integrated into the organization and become a trusted contributor in the areas you are involved in. You will contribute to some of our best intellectual properties (IP) such as Jeopardy, Question of the Day, and Are You Smarter. You will have the opportunity to suggest future areas for opportunity and impact while working towards long-term goals effectively, keeping the team involved. Additionally, you will proactively contribute to the overall team strategy, execution, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user data to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.
  • Design and run experiments to test product hypotheses.
  • Manage metrics and data, creating visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to guide product decision-making processes.
  • Design and oversee A/B tests to measure the impact of new features and improvements.
  • Collaborate with voice designers and engineers to identify opportunities for product enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in Product Analytics or related fields.
  • Curiosity-driven mindset and self-motivated with a determined attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms to derive insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and strategic analyses.

  • Passion for entertainment and/or games.
  • Experience in product development, consumer software, marketing, or consulting.
