About the position

The Lead Product Designer for Member Experience at Teladoc Health is responsible for driving impactful design across mobile, web, and device interfaces. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in design systems, user empathy, and collaboration with various teams to enhance the overall product experience. The designer will lead projects, mentor team members, and ensure accessibility standards are met while contributing to the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Leads and contributes to the development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals creatively and effectively.
• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Provides thought leadership and works on broader organizational projects, requiring an understanding of the wider business.
• Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborates with Design, Research, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to guide the holistic product experience.
• Contributes to the development and evolution of the design system as offerings expand.
• Drives accessibility standards across design.
• Solves complex design problems through authoring and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
• Provides mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in design.
• An outstanding portfolio showcasing foundation in product design and design systems.
• Specific experience with mobile, web, and consumer devices.
• Exceptional visual and UI design skills.
• An insistence on quality and design-for-impact.
• Experience with complex design systems for growing organizations.
• Strong understanding and commitment to accessibility.
• Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Brand.
• Mastery of Figma.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, and Zeplin.
