About the position

At Wells Fargo, we are looking for talented individuals who will put our customers at the center of everything we do. We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our Innovation Enablement Team, which is a small but mighty group focused on designing and building Wells Fargo's path forward. This role is part of the Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team, which forges the strategic direction of the company, manages our digital foundation, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs. The investments we are making will help create innovative digital banking experiences, making it easier for customers to achieve their financial goals. As a Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for conducting design sprints, where you will impart new ways of working to various internal teams while designing new business visions, solutions, roadmaps, and test prototypes. You will also engage in innovation incubation, identifying and enabling a deep understanding of opportunity areas, and developing confidence in the desirability, viability, and feasibility of new offerings through iterative prototyping and strategic alignment with business priorities. In this role, you will proactively collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to understand business objectives and customer needs, translating them into compelling design solutions. You will create design deliverables such as sketches, wireframes, prototypes, user interfaces, and visual designs, often taking broad, conceptual ideas and turning them into engaging and thought-provoking designs. You will work collectively with a design team to ideate and execute immersive design experiences, assess the need for appropriate fidelity of design, and conduct user research to validate design decisions. Additionally, you will partner with Product Managers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals, providing implementation guidance to delivery teams to ensure high-quality launches.
