About the position
The Lead Product Designer at Cloud Theory will play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction of transformative applications across various industries. This position emphasizes a customer-centric design approach, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that user interactions are engaging and purposeful. The designer will tackle complex challenges, manage the end-to-end design process, and mentor team members while driving strategic impact within the product team.
Responsibilities
- Define, drive, and champion a design vision that aligns with company goals.
- Dive into challenging design problems, balancing user needs with business objectives.
- Manage and lead the end-to-end design process for high-impact projects.
- Serve as a mentor, offering guidance and feedback to elevate the team's skillset.
- Explore new design trends and technologies, introducing innovative ideas to enhance the product ecosystem.
Requirements
- Degree in design or equivalent degree and/or work experience.
- 8+ years of experience working with product teams as a product designer, preferably in B2B and SaaS environments.
- 5+ years of experience using customer discovery and wireframe tools.
- 5+ years of experience designing products using modern frameworks with components.
