About the position

The Lead Product Development Manager at Lumen is responsible for overseeing a large cross-functional team to develop and deliver services that align with business objectives and the portfolio roadmap. This role emphasizes adherence to new product development methodologies, effective change management, and strong communication skills. The manager will play a crucial role in evolving the company's product solutions and will establish relationships with key leaders across the business and external partners to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed committed business outcomes, including financial performance, customer experience, and employee experience goals and objectives.
• Liaison and leadership across the company to ensure relevant evolution of Core Solutions.
• Manage key interactions including intake, prioritization, planning, scheduling, tracking, delivery, and launch of products.
• Work consistently with various partner organizations such as Product Management, Software Delivery, Innovation, Architecture, Engineering, Finance, and Sales during the planning, design, development, and launch of new products and services.
• Provide knowledge and leadership in product development, with an intimate understanding of business drivers and product requirements.
• Identify and resolve barriers to success for milestone attainment and desired business outcomes.
• Ensure effective transition of strategic programs from ideation to development to lifecycle management, delivering on identified minimum viable experience standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in product development in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of General Services Administration (GSA) Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) Contract.
