About the position

The Lead Product Manager, Ecommerce is a pivotal role responsible for shaping the Ecommerce strategy for Leatherology and Coverstore. This hybrid position involves collaborating with IT and brand stakeholders to oversee the Ecommerce platform's roadmap, driving innovative website features, and optimizing performance through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will lead projects that enhance user experiences and directly impact customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the roadmap of the overall Ecommerce platform and technology stack in partnership with IT and brand stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with departments to prioritize new site features, bug fixes, and improvements based on business needs.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations to recommend new products and capabilities.
  • Implement UI/UX best practices and ensure a mobile-first, responsive design.
  • Manage the roll-out of new features, vendor contracts, and train business users on functionality.
  • Analyze website performance to identify UI/UX updates for improving the shopping experience.
  • Oversee tagging, tracking, and website analytics methodologies.
  • Establish key performance indicators and benchmarks for metrics to optimize website performance.
  • Plan and execute website A/B and multivariate testing initiatives.
  • Report website performance and testing results to relevant teams and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in ecommerce product management, website analytics, or digital project management.
  • Expertise in ecommerce platforms, particularly Shopify; experience with platform migrations or enhancements is a plus.
  • Proven experience in documenting business requirements and translating technical details into business-friendly language.
  • Proficiency in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) and A/B testing, focusing on conversion rate optimization.
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership skills, capable of driving projects from ideation through execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex data insights.
