About the position

The Lead Product Manager for Global Family Office Technology is a strategic business leader responsible for overseeing a product line or group. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and innovation to post-launch management, while leading a team of product managers. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to align business and product strategies, ensuring the reliability and performance of the product group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product lifecycle and address issues impacting service delivery.
  • Derive market insights and formulate product strategy.
  • Plan new products, including concept, feasibility, and definition.
  • Oversee the development and launch of new products.
  • Manage post-launch product performance and lifecycle.
  • Lead and motivate a team of product managers.
  • Develop and execute product roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons.
  • Align business strategy with product strategy to ensure quality and performance.
  • Conduct industry and market research on product viability and competitive threats.
  • Assess investment needs and make recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and publications.
  • Monitor financial and market progress of the product group through metrics.
  • Understand the impact of new regulations on business strategy.
  • Liaise with the business to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Make staffing decisions and manage expenses for the division.
  • Participate in developing the division's strategic plan and set goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering teamwork and communication.

Requirements

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
  • Product experience is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in constructing and overseeing logical presentations.
  • Proven business leadership skills with a track record in product management.
  • Strong understanding of client needs and product development.
  • Experience in managing, leading, coaching, and developing a team.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Program or project management experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of business strategy development is necessary.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to assess and develop staff.
