About the position

The Lead Product Manager for HRIS at DocuSign plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This position is designed for a highly driven individual who possesses a strong technical and functional background in HRIS systems, particularly in platforms such as Workday, compensation tools, and hiring platforms. As an individual contributor, this role reports directly to the Senior Manager of HR IT and is integral to the development and execution of product strategies that enhance the employee experience and streamline HR processes. In this role, the Lead Product Manager will facilitate the development and definition of the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The individual will lead with trust and focus on employee experience, prioritizing and delivering technical solutions that encompass the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to retirement, including compensation and hiring processes. The ability to solve complex business problems is essential, as the manager will be responsible for delivering an outcome-driven roadmap and solutions in collaboration with business partners and cross-functional IT teams. The Lead Product Manager will also collect and analyze data to make informed recommendations, prioritize product and customer needs, and drive the end-to-end employee experience for systems like Workday and iCIMS. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with engineering and business teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption. Additionally, the manager will act as a trusted advisor for platform and technology, coordinating competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions. The position also involves overseeing product-related deliverables, including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), metrics, and performance measures, while building relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve product objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and definition of the product strategy and roadmap
  • Lead with Trust and Employee experience to prioritize, solution and delivery technical solutions around hire to retire, compensation, hiring process etc.
  • Solve complex business problems and deliver outcome driven roadmap and solutions partnering with business partners and cross functional teams in IT
  • Collect, analyze, make recommendations, prioritize, and address product and customer needs that align with organizational goals
  • Partner with end users and operations to drive end to end employee experience for Workday, iCIMS and other HRIS systems
  • Drive Product and technology roadmap and prioritizations
  • Responsible to drive end to end solutions for HRIS systems
  • Collaborate with engineering and Business teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption
  • Act as a trusted advisor for platform and technology
  • Coordinate competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions
  • Drive product innovation and manage the lifecycle from inception to phase-out
  • Oversee product-related deliverables, which may include PRDs, metrics, and performance measures
  • Facilitate, understand, influence, manage expectations, and build relationships with cross-functional teams and partner collaborations to achieve product objectives

Requirements
