About the position

The Lead Product Manager HRIS at Docusign plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This position is designed for a highly driven individual with a robust technical and functional background in HRIS systems, particularly in platforms like Workday, compensation tools, and hiring platforms. As an individual contributor, this role reports directly to the Senior Manager of HR IT and is crucial in facilitating the development and definition of the product strategy and roadmap for HRIS systems. In this role, the Lead Product Manager will prioritize and deliver technical solutions that enhance the employee experience throughout the hire-to-retire process, including compensation and hiring processes. The individual will be responsible for solving complex business problems and delivering an outcome-driven roadmap in collaboration with business partners and cross-functional IT teams. This includes collecting and analyzing product and customer needs, making recommendations, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Lead Product Manager will also partner with end users and operations to drive a seamless employee experience across various HRIS systems, including Workday and iCIMS. The role involves driving the product and technology roadmap, overseeing product-related deliverables such as Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), metrics, and performance measures, and facilitating competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions. The individual will act as a trusted advisor for platform and technology, ensuring successful product launches and market adoption while building strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve product objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and definition of the product strategy and roadmap
  • Lead with Trust and Employee experience to prioritize, solution and delivery technical solutions around hire to retire, compensation, hiring process etc.
  • Solve complex business problems and deliver outcome driven roadmap and solutions partnering with business partners and cross functional teams in IT
  • Collect, analyze, make recommendations, prioritize, and address product and customer needs that align with organizational goals
  • Partner with end users, operations to drive end to end employee experience for Workday, iCIMS and other HRIS systems
  • Drive Product and technology roadmap and prioritizations
  • Responsible to drive end to end solutions for HRIS systems
  • Collaborate with engineering, and Business teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption
  • Be a trusted advisor for platform and technology
  • Coordinate competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions
  • Drive product innovation and manage the lifecycle from inception to phase-out
  • Oversee product-related deliverables, which may include PRDs, metrics, and performance measures
  • Facilitate, understand, influence, manage expectations, and build relationships with cross-functional teams and partner collaborations to achieve product objectives
  • Apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
  • Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience with Workday cloud enterprise applications

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with ATS systems like iCIMS
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to use data and metrics to support decisions and develop business cases
  • Understanding of SaaS models, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
