About the position

The Lead Product Manager for IoT Solutions at Ericsson will play a crucial role in shaping the future of strategic initiatives within the Machine to Machine and Industrial IoT markets. This position involves defining and leading the product strategy for the IoT portfolio, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with market needs, and driving the development of next-generation 5G platforms and software for IoT. The role requires a strong focus on customer care, product management, and release management, ensuring that the products meet user needs and market demands.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product strategy for the IoT portfolio.
  • Utilize metrics and customer-focused data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate on overall IoT product strategy and roadmap.
  • Plan sprints and manage feature prioritization with development teams.
  • Own release management, including writing product briefs and managing releases.
  • Partner with Customer Support to prioritize user feedback and resolve issues.
  • Monitor progress of development tickets and clear blockers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and marketing teams to release products.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management.
  • 5+ years focused on wireless network solutions for IoT communications.
  • Experience with edge devices including gateways, routers, and sensors.
  • Understanding of communication networks (IP/TCP, VPN, Cellular).
  • Experience with wireless communications technologies (LoRa, Sigfox).
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols and architectures (Modbus, Profinet, OPC-UA).
  • Demonstrated success in managing and improving products in an Agile environment.
  • Strong customer focus and empathy for building a global experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data-informed decision making.
