About the position

The Lead Product Manager for Rider Ad Formats at Uber is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing advertising experiences that connect Uber customers with brands. This role operates within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with top advertisers and internal teams to create innovative ad formats that enhance user engagement and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Operate quickly in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Work closely with Uber's top advertiser and agency partners to understand their brand and performance marketing goals.
  • Deliver novel ad experiences that fit Uber's unique platform.
  • Collaborate with Uber's UX, engineering, and data science teams to realize product vision.
  • Use data and experimentation to prioritize team deliverables, evaluate impact, and iterate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience at a tech/software company.
  • Demonstrated success in designing, building, and launching products in a commercial environment.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior and ad performance data.
  • Technical fluency with a solid understanding of software development.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience with Ads, especially Ad Formats.
  • Computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent.
