About the position

The Lead Product Manager at Little Otter is a pivotal role focused on shaping the strategy and development of products aimed at enhancing childhood mental health care. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product requirements align with the company's mission of providing expert care for children's mental health. The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from conception to release, and will play a significant role in influencing product direction and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering, marketing, and clinical teams to define product requirements and product strategy
  • Own the development of product requirement documents and the product roadmap
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision
  • Incorporate feedback and input from customers and internal teams to develop product strategy and product direction
  • Stay on top of competitors and market trends, incorporating learnings into product strategy and roadmap
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
  • Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans
  • Make build vs. buy decisions
  • Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
  • Work with marketing on product positioning and messaging that differentiates Little Otter and its features to our customers.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a product management role
  • Metric and goal oriented with the ability to prioritize in a competitive environment
  • Excellent translator of information from various sources into interpretable formats for different audiences
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching successful products in the consumer space and/or healthtech space
  • Strong user interview experience to understand customer needs
  • Experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Comfortable discussing technical specifications with engineers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
