About the position

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our team and help elevate our product to the next level. The complexity of the underlying data makes ease of use and understanding not just important, but the core of our value proposition. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the roadmap and timelines for improvements and features launched on our website, Trefis.com. This includes defining design requirements, content direction, and technology needs, while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation. In this role, you will focus on continuous improvement in understanding market segments and early adopters, guided by usage data on the platform. You will also refine our revenue generation and user traffic strategy, exploring both viral growth and partnership-based avenues, ensuring that these strategies align with the product roadmap. The product presents a unique design challenge, requiring a balance between rich interactions from social networking features and a complex set of structured financial content, all while maintaining a simple interface. Therefore, a strong interest and comfort in understanding and designing social networking features, alongside working with complex content structures, will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have prior product management and marketing experience in the internet media space, with a proven ability to coordinate efforts across different teams. You should be able to distill specific product enhancement opportunities from usage data and possess a solid understanding of the market and competitive products. A natural interest in financial content and solid communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
