About the position

At Klaviyo, we are seeking a strategic product marketing leader for our mid-market segment. This role is pivotal in driving business results and requires a close collaboration with cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) leadership and key product groups. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for understanding customer needs and developing compelling storytelling and messaging. Extensive experience in B2B SaaS product marketing is essential, along with a proven track record of enabling sales teams to effectively communicate our unique value proposition. This high visibility and high impact position supports Klaviyo's strategic focus on increasing penetration in the upmarket segment. In this role, you will become a subject matter expert on the mid-market segment, gaining a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, key personas, and the composition of the buying committee. You will track market and competitive trends, define our ideal customer profile, and develop Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) insights. You will also be responsible for developing compelling messaging and positioning frameworks tailored to the mid-market segment. Your responsibilities will include translating these frameworks into thoughtful go-to-market plans, identifying key growth levers, defining prioritized target audiences, and developing sales plays and cross-channel marketing programs in partnership with sales and marketing leadership. Additionally, you will equip our enablement and sales teams with the necessary resources to effectively sell, including sales collateral, customer stories, discovery questions, and objection handling. You will partner closely with sales, operations, and marketing to analyze feedback and results, identify growth opportunities, and support sales and marketing with timely updates to enablement materials.

Responsibilities

  • Drive mid-market business results by collaborating with cross-functional GTM leadership and key product groups.
  • Become an expert on the mid-market segment, understanding customer needs, pain points, and key personas.
  • Track market and competitive trends to define the ideal customer profile and develop TAM/SAM insights.
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning frameworks tailored to the mid-market segment.
  • Translate positioning and messaging frameworks into go-to-market plans, identifying key growth levers and target audiences.
  • Develop sales plays and cross-channel marketing programs in partnership with sales and marketing leadership.
  • Equip enablement and sales teams with resources needed for effective selling, including sales collateral and customer stories.
  • Analyze feedback and results with sales, operations, and marketing to identify growth opportunities and support sales with updates.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, particularly in B2B SaaS products.
  • Experience working closely with large sales organizations and supporting complex sales cycles.
  • Data-driven strategic thinker capable of building plans while operating with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven success in influencing peers and leaders across sales, marketing, product, and regional markets.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with technical, creative, and business experts at all levels.
  • Self-starter who can work in ambiguity and navigate competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Owner-operator mindset with a deep sense of ownership of business results.
