The role is foundational within the Product Marketing team, supporting the R&D organization and working closely with various stakeholders to define market positioning and craft product narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Define Carta's market positioning within the Private Markets space.
  • Craft Carta's product narrative that supports the overall brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in sales, customer success, and enablement to integrate customer feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Conduct customer interviews and gather feedback to understand pain points and customer needs, informing product development and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product marketing experience.
  • A deep understanding of the private markets ecosystem and the current market landscape.
  • Motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience taking products and teams from zero to one.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to diagnose problems and drive towards solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to distill complex thoughts into actionable recommendations.
