About the position

The Lead Product Marketing role at AT&T involves overseeing the development, marketing, and strategy of the company's business devices portfolio. This position is responsible for managing the product lifecycle from initial proposal to end of life, including product launch, positioning, and customer experience. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and alignment with market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and collaborate with OEM partners on technologies, features, pricing, and distribution.
  • Manage product lifecycle from RFP award to end of life, tracking quality metrics and sales performance.
  • Conduct market analysis using customer feedback and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Develop and review product marketing content with internal teams and OEM partners.
  • Collaborate with OEMs to meet product and service requirements.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in product management in telecommunications, technology, or consumer electronics-related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with internal cross-functional teams in a program/project management capacity.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Proven ability to translate ideas and vision into product definition and requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with OEM or a technology start-up in a product management/product marketing capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of smartphone and mobile broadband platforms.
  • Experience managing partners and vendors including marketing development funds.
  • Experience regularly presenting in front of large audiences and executives.
  • Product Management / Product Marketing certifications.
